JAKARTA - In recent times, Mitsubishi has released a teaser and provided little information about the specifications of "The New SUV" which will debut in August.

This was confirmed by Budi Dermawan, General Head of Regional Sales of PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI), who stated that the name of the new SUV was not a Destination.
"The name cannot be disclosed at this time, but it can be confirmed that it is not a Destination," Budi said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, July 11.
However, public interest in this SUV remains high. PT MMKSI has opened pre-orders for "The New SUV" since late May, with an order fee of IDR 5 million.
"Since May 31, we have received pre-orders at a booking fee of Rp. 5 million. If consumers do not match their vehicles, these costs can be returned. We are still waiting for the results, but we are very impressed by the enthusiasm of consumers who make orders. We will provide further updates on media preview events," said Budi.
Mitsubishi will launch one of the new all-new SUVs with a tough but futuristic design at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), which runs from 10 to 20 August 2023 at ICE BSD, Tangerang.
Mitsubishi has revealed some of the features that this new SUV will have before its launch. One of the interesting features is driving mode, including Wet mode which was first introduced on Mitsubishi vehicles.
In addition to Wet mode, this SUV is also equipped with other driving modes, such as Normal, Gravel, and Mud. These four modes can be selected according to the needs of the driver.
These four modes allow these SUVs to perform different driving maneuvers in various conditions with the help of Active Yaw Control (AYC), which increases vehicle capabilities by controlling left and right front wheels, traction, tire movements, engines, and power steering.
Mitsubishi also provides the highest ground clearance in this latest SUV, making it easier for cars to drive on diverse terrains and provide convenience to customers.
