Prabowo Optimistic That RI Rises To Become A Big Economic Country In The World

JAKARTA - Presidential Candidate Prabowo Subianto said Indonesia has great potential to achieve achievements as the fourth largest economic country in the world.

"Ladies and gentlemen, so many world observers, so many world bodies. Everyone has considered that Indonesia will rise to become the fourth or fifth largest country in the world; the largest economy," Prabowo said as quoted by Antara, Sunday.

According to him, it is important to admit that President Joko Widodo's leadership has proven success in taking responsibility for facing the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prabowo emphasized that the steps taken by the current government have accelerated the process of economic recovery and public health, as well as provided encouraging examples for other countries in dealing with similar crises in the world.

"We have to admit that President Joko Widodo and his government, and now that I am part of this government, we have succeeded in protecting this nation. We have succeeded in bringing this nation out of the COVID-19 pandemic the fastest out of the whole world," he explained.

Prabowo said the achievement received recognition from world institutions, such as the United Nations (UN) and the World Health Organization (WHO), and several other countries.

Currently, Prabowo continued, the Indonesian people need to unite in diversity, show wisdom in understanding differences, and reject all efforts to be pitted or divided.

"The Indonesian nation must unite. The Indonesian nation must be smart. The Indonesian nation must no longer be pitted against each other, it must not be divided again," he said.

According to him, unity is the main key in maintaining the integrity and strength of the nation in the midst of social, political and cultural complexity.
