YOGYAKARTA Leontinus Alpha Edison's profile is interesting to discuss especially after he enters the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar National Winning Team aka the National Team in the 2024 presidential election. In the national team, Leon was appointed as Co-Capptain.

Leontinus Alpha Edison is actually known as an experienced businessman who founded a marketplace startup. The man who was born in Pontianak, West Kalimantan on March 19, 1981, is one of the founders of Tokopedia, a company that has now merged with Gojek into GoTo since May 17, 2021. He founded the e-commerce with his colleague, William Tanuwijaya.

As Tokopedia Co-founder, Leontinus Alpha Edison is considered to have contributed to equitable economics in Indonesia in a digital way. Thanks to his hard work through Tokopedia which was born in August 2009, so far many people from various regions in Indonesia have decided to participate in selling at the market place.

Leon turns out to have a background in technology. The reason is, he listed on his personal LinkedIn page that he is an alumni of Information Technology at Atma Jaya University, Yogyakarta, who graduated in 2003.

Leon does pursue a career in IT. He even became a website developer for big companies such as PT Signet Pratama (2003-2004), PT Sqiva System (2004-2005), and PT Semesta Tirta Antara Raya (2006). Leon's career is also quite classy because he has succeeded in serving as General Manager at PT Indocom Mediatama from 2006 to 2008. In the company he has relationships with various telecommunications companies, strategic planning, to planning related to business.

Leontinus Alpha Edison has not only served as Director at Tokopedia, but has also been President Commissioner of IT Dekara since July 2022 until now.

Currently Leon is appointed to help win the Amin pair in the 2024 presidential election with a co-captain position 7. He will work with 11 other co-captains arranged in the AMIN national team. It should be noted that the Anies-Muhaimin national team will be led by Muhammad Syaugi Alaydrus, who is the former Kabasarnas with a fairly interesting track record.
