Fatayat NU Builder Rustini Muhaimin Iskandar Asks Cadres To Guard Elections At The Same Time Press Golput Figures

JAKARTA - The founder of the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Fatayat Central Executive Rustini Muhaimin Iskandar asked the Fatayat NU cadres to oversee every stage of the 2024 General Election and reduce the number of white people (golput).

Fatayat cadres must prepare themselves to take a leading role in every stage and process of life of the nation and state, including the democratic process. "This upcoming 2024 election," said Rustini during the Inauguration of the Head of the Fatayat NU Branch of Banyumas Regency, Central Java, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, November 13.

Based on the permanent voter list (DPT) released by the KPU, continued Rustini, the number of voters in the 2024 General Election reached 204.81 million people. That number consists of 102.58 million female voters and 102.21 million male voters.

Regarding the data, Rustini reminded his cadres not to get involved because the number of female voters was slightly more than for men. He encouraged cadres to cast their votes on voting day on February 14, 2024.

He asked Fatayat cadres to become tough and wise women in responding to all situations and conditions. Rustini asked for her blessing to be a strong woman in accompanying her husband who would fight to become vice president of Indonesia.

Meanwhile, the elected PC Fatayat NU chairman, Tati Irawati, added that Fatayat cadres have other activities outside of organization. However, he admitted that cadres always try to provide time to comment on the community.

"We always try to provide time to serve the community," said Tati.

In his leadership, Tati is committed to perfecting the organization with programs that bring more benefit to the community. He asked Fatayat cadres to continue to produce to serve the community.

Member of the DPR for the Banyumas Electoral District, Cilacap Siti Mukaromah, asked the Fatayat NU cadres who were present at the inauguration to improve their quality.

Fatayat cadres are spread across almost all areas of life of the nation and state. In the executive, legislative and judicial institutions from the central to regional levels, the role of Fatayat cadres is marked by the role of Fatayat cadres," he added

According to him, women must support each other's roles in various fields. Siti said that women are not only empowered in the political field, but in the economic, social, and cultural fields so that these opportunities must be utilized.
