PLN Officers Shocked By Electrocution At The Electric Pole, Successfully Evacuated Alive

JAKARTA - A PLN officer named Awang (33) experienced a seizure after being electrocuted while carrying out an electric pole checking work on Jalan Pisangan Baru Utara, RW 13, Pisangan Baru Village, Matraman District, East Jakarta, Sunday, November 12.

The victim, who was still using the safety equipment, was found hanging over the electric pole he was repairing. Residents who knew about the incident immediately contacted the firefighters.

"The victim was still alive when he was evacuated by 2 rescue teams, totaling 12 officers. The victim was found hanging from the PLN pole due to being electrocuted," said Head of East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaeman, Sunday, November 12.

Efforts to evacuate the rescue of the victim were carried out until 16.02 WIB. The process of evacuating the victim has now been completed.

"The victim survived, he was electrocuted while connected to a new installation to a resident's house. The victim accidentally held a cable with an electrical flow so he was electrocuted," he said.
