Gibran Rakabuming: There Is No Change In Name, There Is Sustainability

JAKARTA - The candidate for vice president (cawapres) of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM), Gibran Rakabuming Raka, stated that he would continue President Joko Widodo's government program if he won the 2024 presidential election with Prabowo Subianto. According to him, there is no change, there is only sustainability.

"Ladies and gentlemen, whom I respect, I always voice sustainability and improvement. So there is no such thing as a change or a new direction, which there is sustainability and perfect," said Gibran at the consolidation event of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) party in Lampung, Saturday, November 11. Gibran emphasized that sustainability is a strong capital for advancing Indonesia. He said, it would be consistent and concentrate on the sustainability.

"I want consistency and sustainability to be our strong capital towards advanced Indonesia," he said. The mayor of Solo then appealed to the public not to ignore the negative statements circulating in the public. According to him, if someone slanders his party, the person is in a state of fear of facing the 2024 election contestation.

"Ladies and gentlemen, once again, if there is a negative'statement', just let it go, but just smile, it will be the numbers that will prove it later. If they keep sneering, slander continues, it means that someone is panicking, afraid, but once again don't be careless, this is still a long way until February 14, "said Gibran. The eldest son of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) also asked all supporting parties to continue to come down to the grassroots to consolidate. As well as maintain cohesiveness within the Advanced Indonesia Coalition.

"In the future, ladies and gentlemen, there will be a serial number, God willing, after the serial number is given, I will leak it one by one the flagship programs of Prabowo-Gibran," said Gibran.

Gibran said that in addition to the pesantren endowment fund program, the elderly KIS and a healthy child card, he would also add several more programs in the future.

"Of course we want Prabowo-Gibran's vision, mission and program to be useful for the community. Once again, continue to maintain cohesiveness, Lampung must win," he concluded.
