Anies Baswedan Explains The Vision Of Change, Affirms The Benefits Of The Community

JAKARTA - Anies Baswedan will explain the vision of "changes" related to future national leadership.

"People don't care, who the mayor or governor wants, the important thing is that they get benefits," he said at Sarasehan 100 Economist 2023 in Jakarta as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, November 8.

Anies explained, when speaking of change, it is not stopping or changing. However, four questions must be answered. First, what should be improved. Second, what must be corrected from what is being done now. Third, what is stopped from what is being done now. Fourth, what new things must be included.

"Most of us, talking about change, only think about number three and four. No, it's dangerous," he asserted.

He gave an example of having served as Governor of DKI Jakarta. When he finished his duty, there was a change, it didn't matter to him, because there were differences in authority.

However, if the principle of four changes is carried out, then the benefits are in the community.

"Changes are technocratic, not politics," he said.

This was conveyed by Anies, when responding, whether to continue or stop the pre-employment card program, if later elected in the upcoming 2024 General Election. It is known that the Pre-Employment Card Program program is a program that has been implemented in the Jokowi-Ma'ruf Government.

The KPU received the registration of three pairs of candidates for president and vice president for the 2024 presidential election, namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD, and Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

The KPU has determined that the election campaign period will take place from November 28, 2023 to February 10, 2024, while the voting is scheduled to be held on February 14, 2024.
