To Bung Karno's Grave With Megawati And Mahfud MD, Ganjar Prays For The State To Run In Accordance With The Constitution

JAKARTA - Candidate for president (candidate) Ganjar Pranowo said he prayed that the state would run according to the constitutional mandate.

This was conveyed by Ganjar after a pilgrimage to the grave of the First President of the Republic of Indonesia Soekarno or Bung Karno in Blitar, East Java today, Friday, November 3. He made a pilgrimage with PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri and vice presidential candidate Mahfud MD who was his partner in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres).

"We pray together there. Pray for Bung Karno so that this country is better, so that this country runs according to the constitution, in accordance with the ideals of the founders and we pray for Bung Karno and of course a reflection for all of us so that everything goes well," said Ganjar to reporters at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Friday, November 3.

This pilgrimage, continued Ganjar, is to strengthen the spirit of the 2024 presidential election. PDIP must unite and be strong to move in the five-year contestation.

'It can't be broken down by anyone and whoever breaks up this party you are against the bull. The tight bull never crys. He will be tough," he said.

The PDIP DPP General Chairperson who is also Megawati's son, Prananda Prabowo and Puan Maharani were also present. Then a number of PDIP elites, including PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto, PDIP Election Winning Body Chairman Bambang Wuryanto or Bambang Pacul, PDIP DPP Chair Djarot Saiful Hidayat and Yasona H Laoly.

Previously reported, PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto said PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri would make a pilgrimage to the First President of the Republic of Indonesia Soekarno or Bung Karno, Friday, November 3. Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD was also invited.

"Tomorrow, Mrs. Megawati Soekarnoputri and her family as well as Mr. Ganjar, Prof. Mahfud MD will make a pilgrimage to Bung Karno's grave in Blitar," Hasto told reporters at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Senayan, Thursday, November 2.

Hasto explained that this pilgrimage was carried out as a form of respect and encouraging Bung Karno, who throughout his life for the country. Because, Megawati from the start said that Indonesia needed a leader who was experienced, clean, and who was able to uphold justice from the start.

"This is as a tribute not only to the proclaimer father of the Indonesian nation but also to start everything like Bung Karno who throughout his life for the nation and state," he said.
