Again Working On Buildings, Landslide Materials As High As 2 Meters Over 3 Coolers In Wonosobo

JAKARTA - As many as three construction workers in Banaran Hamlet, Kalierang Village, Selomerto District, Wonosobo Regency, Central Java (Central Java) who were hit by landslides, were found dead.

The Head of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Wonosobo Regency, Bambang Triyono, said that the three victims, on behalf of Aris, came from Purwokerto, Martin from Wonosobo, and Turahman from Batang.

While working, the victims did not realize that a landslide suddenly occurred so they could not avoid it. They were hit by avalanche material.

Launching Antara, Thursday, November 2, Bambang explained the incident around 14.50 WIB. The landslide is precisely in front of Selomerto Junior High School.

As many as three victims who died have now been evacuated to the Wonosobo Hospital.

He said three victims were buried by the ground as high as two meters when the soil was not yet strong from excavation activities around the location.

The victims were builders who worked on the project.

The evacuation of victims was carried out by digging soil materials, both manually and using excavators by BPBD Wonosobo, Public Works and Public Housing (DPUPR), Polri, PSC 119 Wonosobo Health Office, Tagana, joint volunteers, and local residents.
