Thugs Of Extortion Of Sate Taichan Traders On The Cross Citywalk Become The Target For The Search For Satpol PP And Police

JAKARTA - The alleged perpetrator of extortion against satay taichan traders on Jalan KH Mas Mansyur, across from Citywalk Sudirman, Karet Tengsin Village, Tanah Abang District, Central Jakarta has been identified.

"The information we got from several residents is that he (the alleged perpetrator of extortion) lives in the Karet Tengsin area," said Head of Karet Tengsin Village, Hari Ananda to VOI, Thursday, November 2.

His party has also coordinated with other three-pillar officers regarding the follow-up to the viral incident of alleged extortion in renting sidewalk land for selling stalls.

"Yesterday we had a chance with the police chief, the sub-district head, we also talked about this with the Danramil as well. (the alleged perpetrator of extortion) It is still being sought," he said.

Although the Kelurahan has known the whereabouts of the alleged perpetrators of illegal levies (extortion) on the sidewalk, he has not been able to confirm the identity of the perpetrator.

"It's just the residents or not, we don't know yet, we are still looking for confirmation that yesterday's alleged extortion went viral. It has not been identified with certainty, it is still in the process of extracting this information," he said.

The Tanah Abang Metro Police have also started hunting down thugs who are involved in illegal levies (extortion) who are suspected of selling sidewalks to satay taikchan traders along Jalan KH Mas Mansyur, precisely across the Sudirman Citywalk, Karet Tengsin Village, Tanah Abang District, Central Jakarta.

"We are looking for ( thugs) together with the Satpol PP (the perpetrators)," said the Tanah Abang Metro Police Chief, Kompol Patar Mula Bona when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, November 1.

Furthermore, the Tanah Abang Metro Police have also coordinated with the Tanah Abang sub-district to handle viral videos of alleged extortion in the sale of sidewalks.

"We have coordinated with the sub-district (Tanah Abang). We are looking for it," he said.
