Today Jokowi Groundbreaking Solar Power Plant At IKN

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) laid the first stone (groundbreaking) for the construction of the Bank Indonesia office complex to the Solar Power Plant (PLTS) in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan, Thursday 2 November. Jokowi started his working visit to IKN on the third day by visiting the construction site of the Presidential Office. From the location where he spent the night at IKN, Jokowi arrived at the construction site of the Presidential Office at around 07.05 WITA. He reviewed the progress of the construction of the Presidential Office which had been fitted with Garuda's first blades. In addition, Jokowi also reviewed a number of IKN development projects from the top of the Presidential Office building.

After laying the first stone for the Bank Indonesia and PLTS IKN office complexes, Jokowi is scheduled to attend the Kompas 100 CEO Forum event in the IKN area.Turut accompanied President Jokowi during his visit were Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment ad interim Erick Thohir, Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono, Head of IKN Authority Bambang Susantono, and Deputy Head of IKN Authority Dhony Rahajoe.
