Safe House Kertanegara 46 Questioned, Police Assessed Can Confront Firli Bahuri And Alex Tirta

A "safe house" on Jalan Kertanegara, number 46, South Jakarta.

JAKARTA - Former investigator of the Corruptor Eradication Commission (KPK) Yudi Purnomo assessed that KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri and the boss of a nightclub, Alex Tirta, could be confronted to make light of the status of the "safe house" on Jalan Kertanegara, number 46, South Jakarta.

This was conveyed by Yudi in response to the rental of the house by Alex Tirta for Firli Bahuri which was revealed after the search of the house was carried out by the Polda Metro Jaya some time ago. The forced effort was intended to investigate allegations of extortion by the KPK leadership against former Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo.

"They can be confronted when in their BAP there are differences in information," Yudi told reporters quoted on Thursday, November 2.

Yudi suspects that there are differences in the rental process and the number of rental prices as conveyed by the two parties to the media. So, the police should immediately move to investigate the rental of the house.

"This is what investigators must investigate whether there is a corruption case in the form of gratification or not by examining related parties, the flow of money and contract documents related to renting the house," he said.

"This is a common thing when in the corruption investigation case there are new cases that can later be used as multiple articles. Especially with the difference in information between the two parties and the owner has been examined, of course, it will attract the results obtained by investigators during the examination," continued Yudi.

Previously reported, the house on Jalan Kertanegara, Jakarta, which was originally said to belong to Firli, was in the spotlight. This is because the house is not registered in the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN).

Later, it was said that the house was rented by Alex Tirta for Firli. The entrepreneur of nightclubs as well as the Daily Chair of the Central Board of the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) admitted to renting from a person with the initials E.

Di rumah tersebut juga disebut pernah terjadi pertemuan antara Firli dengan eks Mentan Syahrul Yasin Limpo yang berujung dugaan pemerasan. Hanya saja, peristiwa ini ditantikannya.
