JAKARTA Two lift users at the Kalibata City Apartment that collapsed on Wednesday, October 25, admitted that they were traumatized after the incident. This is because the victim admitted that this was the first time she felt the incident.

"I'm afraid, I've never in my life," Manda said when confirmed, Monday, October 30.

Because he was so traumatized, Manda, who suffered injuries to his hands as a result of the incident, now prefers to take the freight elevator. Because according to him, the freight elevator is considered stronger.

"I don't dare to take someone's elevator anymore, it's better to take the freight elevator. He said it was stronger (in the Kalibata City Apartment). People said a little stronger. Because of the elevator, people collapsed. The good thing is just elevator goods," he said.

Moreover, Manda questioned the attitude of the manager who considered him negligent in anticipating the fall of the elevator. Moreover, Manda said, security forces and technicians of the Kalibata City Apartment had known before the elevator encountered any problems.

"There is no damage to the elevator. I'm not lying. I have CCTV already processed the crime scene. The elevator is functioning, it can be used. If the elevator is damaged there is a sign, it's like a bar, it's not allowed to use it," he said.

"When I fell (in the elevator) I heard, security chat with technicians that yesterday he said it was damaged. Why is it now activated," he added.

Therefore, he decided to make a report to the South Jakarta Metro Police regarding negligence against the management.

"It's been (the police report). I just want to, don't let this happen again. I'm on the 2nd floor in a collapsed position. Especially if I don't know if the 6-5 party is alive or not," he concluded.
