3 Candidates In The 2024 Presidential Election Have Registered Their Wealth To The KPK

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has received a report on the assets of state administrators (LHKPN) for presidential candidates (candidates) and vice presidential candidates (cawapres) who will run in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres). It is known that currently there are three pairs of candidates who have registered with the General Election Commission (KPU). They are Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD, and Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka. "We have received wealth reports from the three pairs of candidates," said KPK Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring Pahala Nainggolan to reporters in a written statement, Thursday, October 26. Furthermore, the anti-corruption commission will coordinate with the KPU. "To announce the assets of the presidential and vice presidential candidates," said Pahala. This announcement will be made after the KPU decides that the candidate pair will pass to the next stage. The public can access the report on the e-LHKPN website. The submission of the report by this pair of candidates must indeed be done. Pahala said, this is in accordance with KPU Regulation (PKPU) Number 19 of 2023 concerning Participants in the General Election of the President and Vice President. "Each candidate must submit a receipt letter or proof of submission of a personal asset report from the KPK," he explained.

After that, the KPU will announce the wealth of the candidates in accordance with Article 21 Paragraph (4) of 2023. "As stated in the state administrator's wealth report after the determination of the candidate pair," concluded Pahala.
