Ganjar Is Not Worried That Jokowi Will Use State Facilities To Win Gibran In The Presidential Election

JAKARTA - Candidate for president (candidate) Ganjar Pranowo admitted that he was not worried that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) would deploy state facilities to win his son who is also the Mayor of Solo Gibran Rakabuming Raka in the 2024 presidential election.

This was conveyed by Ganjar in response to the advancement of Gibran as a vice presidential candidate (cawapres) with the presidential candidate (candidate) from the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) Prabowo Subianto. The pair will register with the General Election Commission (KPU) tomorrow, Wednesday, October 25.

"Ah, no, no. The President won't do that," Ganjar told reporters in Jakarta, Tuesday, October 24.

Ganjar also admitted that he was not afraid to face Gibran in the 2024 presidential election. It is known that Prabowo-Gibran was promoted by eight parties that were in KIM including the Gerindra Party, the Golkar Party, the National Mandate Party (PAN), the Crescent Star Party (PBB) to PRIMA.

"I've never been afraid," said the former Governor of Central Java.

As previously reported, President Jokowi prayed for and approved the decision of his son, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, which was recommended by the Golkar Party as a candidate for vice president (cawapres) Prabowo Subianto.

"The task of parents is only to pray and approve of all decisions (Gibran). Regarding Gibran's certainty that he will partner with Prabowo in the 2024 presidential election, Jokowi is also reluctant to provide certainty. He asked that the question be addressed directly to the coalition of political parties that support Prabowo Subianto as a presidential candidate in 2024.

"Ask political parties, that is the territory of political parties, or coalitions of political parties, or coalitions of political parties, not the president's business," he said.
