JAKARTA - Candidate for vice president (cawapres) Ganjar Pranowo, Mahfud MD stated that there is no transactional practice at the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Kemenko Polhukam). Even if there is, he as Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs is ready to brush anyone involved.

"Nothing for the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs. If there is, please tell me. I want to brush everything, but nothing," Mahfud told reporters after the Meet and Greet event with Ganjar Pranowo in the Blok M area, Jakarta, Monday, October 23.

Mahfud emphasized that he talked about transactional practices in the ministry, not arbitrary. Because, he has the data.

"If I have documents, almost every ministry, I accept the reports where this is the game, who is playing and so on," he said.

"Of course it came to me, only those who received the report could not be validated, but I have a pile of reports. But if you know that my office is there, let me know," continued Mahfud MD.

Previously, Mahfud had talked about transactional practices in the ministry. He said this when he spoke in front of cultural observers such as Butet Kertaredjasa to Cak Lontong and the millennial generation and Generation Z.

"You can see now, the problem of violating the law and corruption, collusion occurs in all layers. In the Ministry of Education and Culture there are, in the Ministry of Social Affairs there are, in the Ministry of Agriculture there are all of them there are dark transaction processes for permits, determination of projects, and so on," said the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs.
