JAKARTA - The East Jakarta Community Alliance held an action to distribute roses to the community in front of Pramuka Market, East Jakarta, Tuesday, October 17. The action was carried out as a form of gratitude for the granting of a judicial review request related to the age limit of the presidential and vice presidential candidates by the Constitutional Court (MK) yesterday. The community alliance, which is dominated by women, also carried a banner that reads 'East Jakarta Community Alliance Says Thank You to the Constitutional Court for Providing Youth The Opportunity to Become President & Vice Presidential Candidates'. The chairman of the East Jakarta Community Alliance, Ali Lubis, said that the thanksgiving was carried out by distributing 300 roses to the community. According to him, roses have the meaning of affection. "Earlier we divided 300 flowers. So why are roses, meaning we give flowers to the community, proof of our love for the community," said Ali Lubis to reporters, Tuesday, October 17. Ali assessed that with the acceptance of the presidential and vice-presidential age lawsuit by the Constitutional Court, young people had the opportunity to progress. He said, this was in accordance with the requirements set by the Constitutional Court.
