Not Vulgar Supports Prabowo, Gelora Party Understands Jokowi's Position

JAKARTA Chairman of the People's Wave Party (Gelora) Anis Matta admitted that she understands the position of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) who did not directly express his support for Prabowo Subianto as a candidate for president in 2024.

According to him, as a president who belongs to all Indonesian people, Jokowi is indeed prohibited from directly taking sides with one of the candidates participating in the 2024 Presidential Election (pilpres).

However, Anis appreciated Jokowi's attitude, who in various speeches and symbols on various occasions, in fact the public was able to read the direction of the support of the former Governor of DKI Jakarta.

President Jokowi hopes that efforts to socialize with his political opponents can be maintained. Likewise with the legacy of development that he has carried out, there is sustainability. The former deputy chairman of the DPR revealed that one of the symbols that Jokowi conveyed in his directives was about climate change, where Indonesia needed leaders like Prabowo Subianto. "Regarding climate change, if we look at it, Mr. Jokowi actually explained, giving directions to the Indonesian people in general, that the President you will choose is the President who can answer the challenges of the Indonesian nation in the future," concluded Anis Matta.
