PeKANBARU - Riau Governor, Syamsuar, symbolically provided funds of Rp22.08 billion in the form of Special Financial Assistance (BKK) to villages in Siak Regency in 2023. Currently, the distribution of these funds is being processed.
"The symbolic handover of the BKK from the Riau Provincial Government to the Village Government for the 2023 Fiscal Year in Siak Regency is in accordance with technical instructions," said Riau Governor Syamsuar during the symbolic handover of the BKK funds at Embung Terpadu Kampung Dayun, Dayun District, Siak Regency, Thursday (12/10).
At the time of handing over the BKK funds, Syamsuar congratulated all villages in Siak Regency in the hope that the use of this aid fund could provide optimal benefits in supporting development and improving the welfare of the people in the village.
He said that through the assistance of the BKK from the Riau Provincial Government, it could accelerate development programs in villages, which were marked by an increase in independent and advanced villages.
"This financial assistance is the commitment of the Riau Provincial Government together with districts/cities to accelerate development in various fields as well as in efforts to realize the welfare of the people in the village," said the former Siak Regent.
He emphasized that the use of these funds must be able to provide optimal benefits in improving community welfare and supporting development in the village.
