JAKARTA - Semarang Police Chief Kombes Irwan Anwar was questioned for seven hours by the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police regarding the alleged extortion of KPK leadership against former Agriculture Minister Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL). "It is finished, at around 22.30 WIB, the examination is about 7 hours," said Director of Criminal Investigation of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Ade Safri Simanjuntak, Wednesday, October 12. Ade Safri explained that the person concerned was examined with the capacity as a witness in this case. "He was examined in the witness capacity at the investigation stage, he was only examined today," explained Ade Safri. Ade added that the material for the examination of Irwan Anwar was still about the alleged corruption incident that occurred.

"The material for the examination of the person concerned is certainly related to the alleged corruption incident that occurred, which is currently being handled by the Investigation Team of the Corruption Sub-Directorate of the Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya. The investigation process is still ongoing and is in progress," explained Ade Safri. Polda Metro Jaya summoned the Semarang Police Chief Kombes Pol.
