During The 4G BTS Trial, Dito Ariotedjo: My Name Is At Stake To Jokowi's Responsibility

JAKARTA - Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Dito Ariotedjo said that his presence at the trial of the alleged corruption case of BTS 4G Kominfo as a witness was a great opportunity to reveal the real facts.

He made this statement before the panel of judges after conveying everything he knew about the series of corruption cases.

"Thank you for being invited, sir. Hopefully it can clear and I hope to reveal the truth, sir," said Dito during a trial at the Corruption Court at the Central Jakarta District Court (Jakpus), Wednesday, October 11.

According to him, his good name is at stake. Because, in the development of the trial, his name is said to have also received the flow of funds.

In addition, which is no less important, said Dito, he has a big responsibility and must be maintained against President Joko Widodo or Jokowi.

"Because my name is at stake, sir and I have a family. I have a responsibility to the President," said Dito.

Responding to Dito's statement, Chief Judge Fahzal Hendri said it was a positive point obtained by the Minister of Youth and Sports when he came to court. One of them is the opportunity to clear a wide open good name.

"This has a positive side, cleaning your name in public. So the public is confusing, sir, there are various narratives of that person. You are clear in this trial. This is how it is," said Judge Fahzal.

"Thank you profusely Your Majesty," said Dito.

Previously reported, Dito Ariotedjo emphasized that he did not accept any gifts from the President Director of PT Mora Telematika Indonesia Galumbang Menak Simanjuntak, who is now a defendant in the alleged corruption case of BTS 4G Kominfo.

"At the first meeting, was there a difference in entrusting something with you?" asked Hakim Fahzal.

"Nothing," replied Dito.

"Nothing?" asked Judge Fahzal convincingly.

"No sir," said the Menpora.

Then, Judge Fahzal asked a similar question about the second meeting between Dito and Galumbang. The man who now serves as Menpora reiterated that there was no gift whatsoever.

"The second meeting is the same?" asked Judge Fahzal.

"It's the same, Your Majesty," said Dito.
