Satria Gerindra Declare Support For Prabowo-Gibran

JAKARTA - The Indonesia Raya Volunteer Unit (Satria) as the wing of the Gerindra Party declared support for Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming as a pair of candidates for president/vice president in the 2024 election.

"We carried out this declaration based on input from Satria cadres throughout Indonesia, who asked Prabowo to pair up with Gibran for the 2024 presidential election," said Satria Chairman Bambang Haryadi as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 10.

According to him, Satria needs a couple who understands the world's geopolitical problems, the representation of young people and there are no more terms cebong and kampret.

"The official proposal will soon be submitted to Prabowo Subianto and the Advanced Indonesia Coalition," he said.

According to him, after the 2019 presidential election, Indonesia experienced quite good political conditions, where unity had occurred between Prabowo and Jokowi.

"This really makes us all cool and political conditions stable," he said.

He argues, by bringing the Mayor of Solo Gibran Rakabuming, political unity and peace can be even better.

Especially at this time, President Jokowi advised Indonesia to need a leader who is firm, needs a leader who is brave and that is in the figure of Prabowo Subianto.

"We cannot neglect that we young people also need representatives and Gibran is one of the best figures of this nation, who can represent us to lead Indonesia in the future," he hoped.
