Ganjar Pranowo Ziarah To The Tomb Of The Founder Of The Al-Quran Cijantung Islamic Boarding School

JAKARTA - The presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo visited the grave of Kiai Haji Moch Sirodj, who was the founder of the Cijantung Al-Quran Islamic Boarding School in Ciamis Regency, West Java.

Ganjar's arrival was received by the caregivers of the Quran Islamic Boarding School KH Nur Muhammad, KH Asep Basirun, and KHOni Syahroni. Ganjar was immediately invited to the tomb area of KHMoch Sirodj for a pilgrimage.

After the pilgrimage, Ganjar kept in touch as well as being friendly with the big family of the Cijantung Quran Islamic Boarding School.

"I thank you for the great welcome," said Ganjar, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, October 9.

The caretaker of the Cijantung Al-Quran Islamic Boarding School, KH Nur Muhammad, admitted that he was happy that his boarding school was visited by one of the national figures, Ganjar Pranowo.

"A pilgrimage to the graves of our parents as well as the founder of the Al-Qur'an Islamic Boarding School. This Islamic boarding school which has been established since 1935. Pilgrimage, gathering, main arrival, no other purpose," he said.

He hopes that the friendship between Ganjar Pranowo and the big family of the Cijantung Al-Quran Islamic Boarding School can continue.

According to him, Ganjar is very populist and friendly to anyone. "Very populist because earlier he had to go home as soon as possible. But, when I asked to pray here, I was also invited to eat, I was also invited to chat," he said.
