420 Merchants In Puncak Bogor Will Be Evicted, 87 Buildings Including Warpat Are Brought Under Control

The Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) plans to curb hundreds of traders in the Puncak area, Bogor Regency. Control is carried out by eviction and relocation.

Head of the Tibum Division of the Bogor Regency Satpol PP, Rhama Khodara, said there would be around 420 traders along Jalan Raya Puncak who would be relocated to the Gunung Mas rest area.

"We will order approximately 420 buildings belonging to traders. Only traders will be disciplined. Traders will be relocated to the Gunung Mas Rest Area," he said in Bogor, West Java, Monday, October 9, which was confiscated by Antara.

He explained that this control was carried out as a step to enforce regional regulations (Perda). According to him, the stages of socialization regarding this control have been carried out some time ago.

"The socialization has been from last weeks and the notification letter for self-dismantling has also been with seven times 24 hours. In accordance with Regional Regulation Number 4 of 2015 concerning public order," he said.

In addition to controlling traders' stalls, the Bogor Regency Satpol PP also scheduled the control of 87 buildings in the Puncak area that did not have a Building Permit. One of them, namely Warpat, the location of the favorite snacks for Puncak tourists.

Warpat or Warung Prapat is one of the icons of the Puncak area. Warpat is directly adjacent to Cianjur Regency, often crowded with tourists, especially on weekends.
