Projo Will Invite Prabowo In The National Working Meeting

JAKARTA - General Chairperson of Projo volunteers Budi Arie Setiadi revealed that his party will invite prospective presidential candidates in 2024 at the Projo National Working Meeting (Rakernas) at the Indonesia Arena, Gelora Bung Karno area, Jakarta, October 14, 2023.

"We invite the president to read," said Budi Arie after attending a limited meeting in his capacity as Minister of Communication and Information Technology, at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, October 9.

Budi said that in the event that President Joko Widodo would attend, his party would invite a presidential candidate who would be supported by Projo.

"Not (not all read presidents)," he said.

He asked reporters to wait for the presidential candidate who would be invited to the Projo National Working Meeting.

However, he still confirmed that Projo would express support for the presidential candidate with the initials P.

"So Mr. P, yes later. The candidate we support is Mr. P.

"Anyway, P. P can be Mr. Ganjar, it could be Mr. Prabowo, it could be Mr. Airlangga," he joked.

Meanwhile, when asked whether Projo would also invite Gerindra Party chairman Prabowo Subianto to the National Working Meeting, Budi agreed.

"Yes, we invite (Prabowo)," said Budi. However, he did not mention Prabowo's attendance capacity at the event as a candidate for the presidential or defense minister.

Regarding the figure of the vice presidential candidate Projo will propose, Budi said that his party would hand over to the presidential and supporting candidates.
