Head of the Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. (Kasudinhub), Wildan Anwar, said that the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency carried out traffic engineering in a number of points as the TNI troop defile and defense equipment activities were held on the 78th Anniversary of the TNI on Thursday, October 5.

"Traffic engineering is carried out starting at 10.15 WIB until 11.15 WIB or situational. As for the implementation of this activity, Transjakarta can still pass," said Wildan when confirmed, Thursday, October 5.

Wildan also appealed to long-distance train (KAJJ) users who will go to Gambir Station, to anticipate traffic jams so that they can adjust their travel time.

"We are advised road users to avoid roads around Monas and be able to adjust the traffic arrangements that have been set. Obey traffic signs, instructions from officers in the field and prioritize road safety," he said.

As is known, as many as 4,636 personnel will participate in the parade ceremony and the defile of the TNI's 78th Anniversary. After the ceremony, hundreds of defense equipment were also exhibited during the commemoration.

Among them are the deployment of 91 aircraft from land, sea and air dimensions that will cross the sky above the Monas area, as well as 140 land defense equipment which will be exhibited at the 78th TNI Anniversary.

Not only defense equipment, but the TNI will also show off missiles imported from abroad. Then, the TNI's 78th Anniversary will also be enlivened by parachuting with 78 personnel from the air and landing at the Monas yard. Acrobatics of the fighter aircraft surrounding the Monas monument were also carried out.

The commemoration of the 78th Anniversary of the TNI continued with a helly dance accompanied by a family club song and followed by Wan TNI and women as many as 300 personnel, a performance of the cadets of the TNI Academy with 250 personnel, and closed with a demonstration of Kolone Kolosal Rifle as many as 678 personnel.
