Prof. Ngoerah Bali Hospital Cremation Of 16 Abandoned Bodies, 3 Of Them German-Aussie Citizens

DENPASAR - The Central General Hospital (RSUP) Prof. Dr. I GNG Ngoerah ( Sanglah) Denpasar, Bali, cremation of 16 abandoned bodies or unknown identity.

Dozens of bodies were placed in 16 coffins and cremated in Mumbul Crematorium Park, South Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali.

"There are approximately 16 bodies that we have to cremation after going through a long process. They do not get recognition from their families or from related institutions so that they are handed over to us at the Prof. Ngoerah Hospital for mass cremation in two hares," said Director of Operational Services at the Prof. Ngoerah Hospital, dr. I Gusti Lanang Suartana Putra, Wednesday, October 4.

Disadvantaged bodies who have been released at Prof. Hospital. Ngoerah as many as 16 bodies, three of whom are foreign nationals (WNA), namely two bodies from Australia and one body from Germany.

The 16 bodies consist of 7 baby bodies and 8 adult bodies. Meanwhile, the longest bodies since 2021 and the newest bodies since 2022. Meanwhile, the cost of exemption from treatment and funeral care at Prof. Ngoerah Hospital is IDR 2,386,276,800.

"At this year's Cremation, there were additional bodies from Bali Mandara Hospital as many as one body, namely a German foreigner. So the total bodies cremated this year are 16 bodies," he said.

"This process is quite long and no one has admitted or left behind at Prof. Ngoerah Hospital, some are no later than two years ago since August 2021, and the last is March 2022," he added.
