The death of a high school student with the initials CH (16) who was found burned to death at the Spion Post, Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, East Jakarta, has not been answered.

From the results of the crime scene (TKP), the police found a gas lighter next to the victim's body at the time of the incident. However, the lighter has been destroyed.

"During the first crime scene on Sunday night, it was not found because it was dark at that time. However, when the second crime scene was processed, a lighter was found next to the body of CH," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Leo Simarmata to reporters, Tuesday, October 3.

In the findings of the first crime scene, officers found a bottle of used gasoline. The core allegedly ignited the fire into gasoline.

"The lighter is a gas lighter. But the details are not known because it has been burned," he said.

However, his party has not been able to confirm the chronology until the victim caught fire because they are still conducting further investigations.

From the autopsy results of the team of doctors at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, it is known that the victim was still alive when he caught fire, this refers to the findings of fine charcoal or grains in the respiratory cavity.

"When he caught fire he was still alive, whether this burning was injured or after being burned. We are still investigating," he said.
