Members Of The House Of Representatives Highlight The Importance Of Training For Content Creators

Entering the month of the Youth Pledge, the DPR invites Indonesian youth to play a role in the development of the country by utilizing the creative economy sector, including in the digital world.

This was conveyed by a young member of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Dave Laksono during a conversation with young activist who is also a content creator, Esther Lubis. The issue of the role of youth was discussed in the 'Ngobrolin DPR' program which was broadcast via live Instagram, last week.

In a casual conversation with the theme The spirit of the Youth Pledge Month: Contributing Smartly to the Nation', Dave explores the role of young people in absorbing jobs by increasing the skills needed by the business world.

"Skill workers are always the key to problems in various sectors. Our skills workers must be able to understand and understand to go directly into the business world," Dave said while talking to Esther Lubis, quoted Monday, October 2.

"So that they can directly enter factories, enter offices, causing trust in investors so that they can continue to play their investments in Indonesia," he continued.

Therefore, Dave assessed that the Government needs to prepare a sustainable program between needs in the business world and skills for young people.

"That's all the key to education, so if the Government must be able to create an ecosystem where mutual support between foreign investors will invest in the skills of our young people. So having the right skills will calm investors, turning their money around in our country," explained Dave.

In the era of the development of information technology, the legislator from the West Java VIII electoral district also emphasized the importance of the role of the Government through ministries and institutions to provide training for children to keep up with the times, especially in the creative economy. So, said Dave, young people can compete in creating opportunities to build the nation.

"In a number of ministries and institutions, they have training programs for content creators, human resource developments that are in accordance with the development of digitalization. Education, equipment and market must have been prepared," said the member of Commission I of the DPR.

In addition to developing young people from the creative economy sector, Dave also encouraged the Government to support Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) who follow the trend of information technology. The government is reminded to open up open space in developing young people's businesses so that they can enter the Indonesian and foreign markets.

"Either in a marketplace or in a physical market such as MSME sales activities, it is carried out massively throughout Indonesia, both at the central to regional levels. The DPR continues to encourage the development of MSMEs," explained Dave.

Welcoming the commemoration of Youth Pledge Day, Dave also gave a lesson to young people who want to be involved in politics. To become a member of the legislature or executive, he said young people must have a steel mentality.

"Our challenge is in the DPR, how to get rid of the negative stigma, because if we make a thousand good things, when one mistake is in the name of the institution, all of them will be destroyed," explained Dave.

"Moreover, now the rapid development of information broadcasting, these things often happens. So that the most important thing is to maintain our dignity, our conscience to continue to work optimally," he added.

As one of the young legislators in the DPR, Dave invites all young women to enter politics, starting sensitively with the political world in Indonesia. He said, politics can be a means for young people to jointly participate in developing the country.

"How our presence is useful for our surroundings, how our presence is contributed in the journey of our nation," said Dede.

In the conversation, Esther also read out questions that came from netizens.

"In welcoming the month of the Youth Pledge, how should youth respond to cyber bullying in the midst of information disclosure?" Esther read out a question to Dave.

Hearing this question, Dave considered that responding to cyber bullying, every young person was asked to uphold Pancasila and make the constitution of the 1945 Constitution a guideline.

"In the Youth Pledge, we don't know the difference, we are one nation of one language. So that should be our guideline. We also have Pancasila and the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia," replied Dave.

Dave also invited the younger generation to strengthen unity, especially now that Indonesia is haunted by the many cases of bullying or bullying.

"With the spirit of Pancasila and loving the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia and based on the 1945 Constitution, all kinds of SARA actions must be stopped which can divide our nation," he concluded.
