Alluding To Politics Only For Power, Megawati: Various Ways To Do

Chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri said the current politics is only used to grip power for power.

This was conveyed by Megawati when closing the IV PDIP National Working Meeting (Rakernas) today, Sunday, October 1, 2023.

"Politics is often only seen as a powerraising to gain political power. Various ways have been done," Megawati told her cadre at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta.

"If we see that there are those who bid for certain strategic positions, there are also those who provide policies that benefit themselves or their groups, some offer things that are actually irrational but considered reasonable in order to gain power," he continued.

Megawati reminded her that PDIP is an ideological party. So, they must serve the country by going down to society.

He also asked that no cadres perpetuate their gratitude with the assumption 'no lunch is free'. Because, this expression creates distrust.

"If this is a culture, then politics will give birth to a distortion, a distortion is a crisis of trust. Now, how do we want to become such a political organization," he concluded.
