The Attorney General's Office Investigate Alleged Flow Of BTS Case Funds Of IDR 70 Billion To Commission I

The Attorney General's Office (AGO) is investigating the alleged flow of funds in the alleged corruption case of the 4G base transceiver station (BTS) worth Rp70 billion to Commission I of the DPR.

The flow of money to Commission I of the DPR worth Rp70 billion was disclosed by witness Windi as Director of PT Multimedia Berdikari Sejahtera who was presented at the trial on September 26.

"Currently investigators are still investigating and looking for evidence," said the Director of Investigation at the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the AGO, Kuntadi, Friday, September 29.

The search for additional evidence is because in the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP) a minimum of two pieces of evidence is needed to start the investigation and investigation process.

Meanwhile, Windi's statement is only worth one piece of evidence. So, other evidence is needed.

"Whether the two or 10 witnesses are only worth one piece of evidence, at least one other piece of evidence is needed, whether it is letter evidence, expert evidence and others," he said.

Moreover, Windi's statement is not a new fact. Because, he had conveyed it during the examination.

"Basically what was explained at the trial was not a new fact or had been explained by witnesses in the investigation BAP," said Kuntadi.

As previously reported, witness Windi Purnama revealed that there was a flow of funds related to the project to provide Base Tranceiver Station (BTS) infrastructure to Commission I of the DPR worth Rp70 billion. The transfer of money was mentioned through Nistra Yohan twice.

The facts about the trial regarding the flow of funds to Commission I of the DPR began when Judge Sukartono questioned Windi regarding the handover of money.

"Mr. Windi, did you meet Nistra?" asked Judge Sukartono during a trial at the Corruption Court at the Central Jakarta District Court, Tuesday, September 26.

"It was Your Majesty," replied Windi.

"Isn't it asked, who is Nistra's envoy?" said Judge Sukartono, who was immediately answered 'No' by Windi.

Hearing this statement, Judge Sukartono then questioned and studied Windi's statement, the figure of Nistra who was the envoy from Commission 1.
