1 Year Leading Jakarta, Heru Budi Evaluated By The Ministry Of Home Affairs Regarding Poverty And Drugs Handling

JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono underwent an evaluation of the performance achievements of one fourth quarter at the Inspectorate General Office of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Itjen Kemendagri) RI.

Every three months, the Acting Governor is required to report the results of their work to the Ministry of Home Affairs. In this fourth evaluation, Heru not only explained the performance achievements of the last three months or during the fourth quarter, but also conveyed his performance achievements for one year.

Heru said that the explanation of the programs and policies he carried out while leading Jakarta would be evaluated by the assessment team or the evaluater Itjen of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

"Our performance is evaluated. The results of the assessment are with the assessment team. But, for sure, we always work for the good and welfare of the people of Jakarta," Heru told reporters, Friday, September 29.

Heru explained that he explained a number of achievements ranging from stunting management interventions that had been carried out since the beginning of his tenure, to drug management in Jakarta.

"Earlier in performance evaluation, we explained the achievement of performance for one year. Starting from handling poverty, maintaining inflation so that it continues to be stable, handling stunting, health aspects are also discussed, dealing with waste and air pollution, to dealing with drugs in Jakarta," explained Heru.

Specifically for dealing with poverty, Acting Governor Heru explained, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is focused on keeping extreme poverty lines from falling. The effort made is to synergize across regional apparatus organizations within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to work together to solve the problem.

"I convey that DKI Jakarta pays special attention to extreme poverty. We protect it with synergies from the OPD, such as the Social Service, the Department of Food Security, Maritime Affairs and Agriculture (KPKP), the Service for Empowerment of Child Protection and Population Control (PPAPP) and the Education Office, all down to overcome extreme poverty. Because, in these agencies there is a budget," he added.
