CIANJUR - The Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park Center (TNGGP) conducted an investigation related to the Mount Gede Solar Square fire by involving the Security and Law Enforcement of LHK for the Java and Southeast Nusa Tenggara Regions (Balai Gakkum LHK for the Jabalnusra Region).

Head of the TNGGP Center, Sapto Aji Prabowo, said that his party is still carrying out the identification process of the alleged perpetrator of the burning of Suryakencana Square which was recorded on CCTV running from source of fire to other locations.

"We involved the Balai Gakkum LHK for the Jabalnusra Region in the investigation of the alleged perpetrator who is not thought to be a climber seeing from the clothes worn," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, September 26.

His party is also still digging up information related to the characteristics of the alleged perpetrator who deliberately burned grass Fields and edelweiss Parks in Suryakencana Square covering an area of 3 hectares because the faces and characteristics of the perpetrators were not clearly visible, making it difficult for officers.

Based on the results of the analysis, in the CCTV footage, the alleged perpetrator walked alone. According to a number of volunteers who had met the alleged perpetrator during a clean-up action like people in the environment.

"We are still investigating and will develop the results of the temporary investigation of the desert that caught fire due to the intentional element carried out by the alleged perpetrator. The results of the analysis in the CCTV footage show the figure of a person wearing a white shirt at the location of the hotspot," he said.

Previously reported, the Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park Center (TNGGP) noted that the fire that occurred in the Suryakancana Square, Gunung Gede Pangrango, caused 29,000 square meters of land to be burned, 2,500 square meters of edelweis flower land.

The head of the TNGGP Center, Sapto Aji Prabowo, said that the results of the data collection of officers from the total burned land were 89 percent of them in Padang, 9 percent of edelweis parks, and 2 percent of cantigi plants.

"Edelweis Park which burned an area of 2,500 square meters or 9 percent of the total land that was reported to be 29 thousand square meters," he said.
