JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo suggested improving the mechanism for the practice of driving license (SIM) to be better. For example, by providing visualization to applicants on the way to the test.

The visualization in question is the presence of officers who exemplify driving properly and safely when going through practical test obstacles.

In the practice test, there were obstacles in the form of lanes with the S-letter pattern. In addition, there are also conditions that display vehicle braking.

"Maybe someone still gave an example, an explanation in the field before starting practice so that he really understands what to do," said Sigit.

In the SIM C practice test or motorcycle, Korlantas Polri officially replaces the 8 and zigzag patterns with the S letter path.

This path with the S-letter pattern was chosen as a new method on the practical test based on the results of the expert's studies while still prioritizing the expertise and safety of motorists.
