JAKARTA - The Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) said there was no prohibition for the youngest son of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), Kaesang Pangarep to join the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI). Jokowi was also confirmed to be free from PDIP sanctions because of his child's decision. The reason is that the PDIP rules only prohibit nuclear family members who are still on one family card (KK). The rules are contained in the PDIP Articles of Association and Bylaws (AD/ART) Number 25a, which states that the PDIP cadres' families must be in the same party.
