3 Drug Dealers In Category G Arrested, The Mode Is To Open A Cosmetics Shop

TANGERANG - Three perpetrators with the initials NH (28), RJ (24) and AG (21) were arrested by the police for allegedly selling hard drugs in category G without obtaining a permit. The modus operandi is to open a cosmetic shop.

Sepatan Police Chief, AKP Sriyono said the incident occurred at the Ahmad Yani Street Cosmetics Shop, Sepatan Village, Tangerang Regency, September 16, at 16.30 WIB.

The incident began with reports from residents regarding the sale of the hard drugs. On that basis, his party investigated until the three perpetrators were finally arrested.

"The arrests of the three perpetrators began with information from the public that we got regarding the existence of a place that was used as a sale or distribution of G-list drugs and without a distribution permit," Sriyono said when confirmed, Friday, September 22.

In addition to arresting the perpetrators, said Sriyono, his party also secured evidence of thousands of pills of illegal drugs.

"So a total of 1,166 pills of prohibited drugs are confiscated from the three suspects," he said

The perpetrators together with the evidence were brought to the Sepatan Police. Meanwhile, the suspects were named.

"Article 196 in conjunction with Article 98 paragraph 2 subsidiary Article 197 in conjunction with Article 106 of Law Number 36 of 2009 carries a threat of 15 years in prison," he concluded.
