JAKARTA - As a result of the pipe leak belonging to PAM Jaya, residential areas in dense areas of RT 14/04, Petamburan Village, Tanah Abang District, Central Jakarta, were flooded. The leaking pipe is large, causing puddles of water.

Residents claimed to have known about the seepage of water from Pam Jaya's water pipe since 3 days ago. However, on Thursday, the water seepage finally issued a heavy water discharge.

Firman, the head of the local RW, said that at first he did not know. However, on Thursday afternoon, suddenly came out like a waterfall.

"From the beginning here one point, two points, three points for the front of the stairs because of the embes. It's been 3 days," Firman told reporters, Friday, September 22.

Firman said PAM Jaya had coordinated with him regarding the leakage of water pipes.

"Yes, that's right (it was flooded). The reason is because the pipe is big, I don't know the brakes from below, I don't understand, there are 10 houses in the alley, the same on the road, yes, just feet," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of Petamburan Village, Rian Hermanu, said that his party had received the report. However, we do not know for sure the cause of the leak of PAM Jaya's pipe.

"At 8 pm there was a decision if the water was turned off. The Director of PAM Jaya immediately came to check the location and deployed heavy equipment. It is suspected that the pipe leak was old," he said.
