TPA Burned In Indonesia In The Last Month

YOGYAKARTA - A few days ago, a fire broke out that hit the Putri Cempo Final Disposal Site (TPA) in Mojosongo, Solo, Saturday, September 16, at approximately 13.00 WIB. The fire is predicted to come from methane gas that is hit by the summer of the dry season. This is not the first time the TPA-burning incident has caught fire in Indonesia in the past month!

The head of the Solo Fire Department (Damkar), Sutarja, said that his officers immediately moved to the position of the fire as soon as they found the report. Currently, firefighters are still trying to extinguish the blaze at the Putri Cempo TPA.

"Actually, a fire engine has been standing by near the Putri Cempo TPA for a month to estimate garbage fires during the dry season," he said.

Jatibarang TPA Fire, Semarang, Central Java

Launching from ANTARA, Semarang Mayor Hevearita Gunaryanti Rahayu said cooling the location of the former fire at the Jatibarang Final Disposal Site (TPA) took at least a week.

Fire At TPA Randegan, Mojokerto, East Java

The Head of Cleanliness of the Mojokerto City DLH, Erijanto Mukti Wibowo, revealed that until the 10th day of the Randegan TPA fire, the effort to extinguish the fire showed significant results.
