Chairman Of PAN Proposes 2 Names Of Prabowo's Vice Presidential Candidate: Erick Thohir, Number 2 Mr. Muhadjir

Chairman of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Zulkifli Hasan has consistently proposed two names of candidates for vice president to be paired as assistants to Prabowo Subianto's presidential reading in the 2024 Presidential Election.

"The vice presidential candidate is clear, Mr. Erick Thohir, Mr. Muhadjir's number two, already," he said after following the destruction of alcoholic beverages and other goods at the Makassar Niaga Orderly Supervision Office, Graha Sucofindo building, reported by ANTARA, Monday, September 18.

The two candidates proposed by PAN, namely Erick Thohirkini, served as Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) and Muhadjir Effendy are now Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture of Indonesia or Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture.

When asked what about the presence of the Democratic Party who joined the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM), the man who is familiarly called Zulhas was reluctant to comment much.

"Ahlan wa suhoolan, bihudurikum (welcome on his presence). There was already a picture last night, it was crowded (already joined)," he said briefly to the media crew.

Previously, the Democratic Party officially announced the direction of the 2024 presidential election coalition when the party's National Leadership Meeting (Rapimnas) will be held on September 21, 2023.

The Coordinator of the Democratic Party Spokesperson, Herzaky Mahendra Putra, said that the Chairman of the Democratic Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), would announce the decision to the cadres and the public during the meeting.

"For the official Democratic decision to join the coalition or cooperation for the 2024 presidential election, it will be conveyed directly by the Chairman of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, at the National Meeting of the Democratic Party, Thursday, September 21, 2023," said Herzaky.
