TNI Task Force Help Develop Education In Kisor Village

JAKARTA - The TNI Task Force Battalion 133/YS helps develop education through their dedication to being a teacher at YPK Elementary School in Kisor Village, Maybrat Regency, Southwest Papua Province through their dedication to become a teacher to improve the quality of education in the region.

Commander of the 133th Infantry Battalion/Yudha Sakti Task Force Lt. Col. Inf. Andhika Ganessakti in Sorong, Sunday, explained that taking part in teaching tasks is an effort by the TNI's concern to improve education in Kisor Village, South Aifat District.

"Because in the village there is indeed a school but the teacher is lacking so that at the initiative we take part in the teaching," explained Lt. Col. Inf. Andhika Ganessakti.

Soldiers from the Battalion 133/YS Task Force, he said, became educators to help teach elementary school students as a form of real concern in educating future generations in the interior of Papua.

"So taking part in teaching tasks is also a realization of the "Smart Papuan Children Teaching Army" program which is present to answer the condition of the teacher shortage," said the Commander of the 133th Infantry Battalion/Yudha Sakti Task Force Lt. Col. Inf. Andhika.

He admitted that the lack of availability of teaching staff in the hinterland of Maybrat Regency is a serious problem for the educational process for future generations in Eastern Indonesia.

"With the briefing of teaching staff that have been prepared previously, we are here to be a solution to overcome the shortage of teaching staff in the area which is the responsibility of the Task Force," said Dansatgas Andhika as quoted by Antara.

Meanwhile, a member of the Kisor Post, Second Sergeant Ecky, said that he felt compelled to take part in becoming a teacher at an elementary school in Kisor Village so that the quality of education in the area was maintained even though there were still minimal teachers.

"As soon as possible we provide knowledge to the next generations of the nation in the sector of this fostered area so that children are not left behind by other regions in Indonesia," explained Ecky.

The presence of the Battalion 133/YS Task Force in Kisor to teach received good response and appreciation from the community.

"They feel happy and grateful to the TNI, especially the Battalion 133/YS Task Force for helping with education at the Kisor YPK Elementary School," he said.
