Directives For Students Of Special Dikmata Kostrad, Kasad Dudung Emphasizes Maintaining The Sovereignty Of The Republic Of Indonesia

The recruitment of 549 Special Tamtama Kostrad personnel is to meet the needs of organizations in Kostrad combat units in maintaining state stability and facing various threats from within and outside, as elite TNI AD troops that can be deployed in various operational tasks fields.

"You are here to be educated as Kostrad soldiers, who are elite Army troops. You were formed as soldiers to safeguard the sovereignty of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia and solely for the benefit of the people," said Army Chief of Staff (Kasad) General TNI Dudung Abdurachman, Friday 15 September.

Kasad gave this emphasis when giving a briefing to 549 soldiers of the First Student of Tamtama (Dikmata) Special Kostrad, in the Pussenif Infantry Education Center Training area (Pusdikif Pussenif) Cipat, Bandung, West Java.

Before delivering his briefing, Kasad first received an educational presentation from the Director of Training at the Army Infantry Armed Forces Center (Dirbinlat Pussenif) Colonel Inf Khabib Mahfud.

Furthermore, the number one person in the ranks of the Indonesian Army revealed that the soldiers of the Special Dikmata Kostrad students were selected people from various regions throughout Indonesia to become soldiers of the elite TNI AD troops.

"Whatever your duties will be, it will be solely for the sake of the people. Pledge the Sapta Marga, the Soldier's Oath, and 8 mandatory TNI, and must know what it means, in order to practice it in the life of your soldiers," Kasad ordered.

Furthermore, Kasad also highlighted several things that need to be considered by Kostrad's Dikmata students. These include improving combat skills, maintaining equipment, as well as increasing coordination and cooperation among Kostrad units.

"Pay attention to security factors in practicing as a top priority, and the absorption of knowledge, tactics and combat techniques given by coaches and coaches, and realize the importance of fighting spirit, professionalism, and discipline as the basis for success in carrying out tasks," said Dudung.

This briefing is part of the Indonesian Army's continuous efforts to improve the quality and readiness of the Kostrad troops, in facing various challenges task of maintaining the security and integrity of the Republic of Indonesia, as well as supporting the main tasks of the Indonesian Army.

Before leaving Pusdikif, Kasad took the time to visit the kitchen, which at that time was being used to cook the students' food menu.

Kasad also reviewed the study classes of Military Academy (Akmil) cadets, who were undergoing basic education on Infantry branching, and witnessed military martial arts demonstrations from soldiers of Special Dikmata Kostrad students.
