BNN Raids Drug Party At Hotel Surabaya, 10 People Arrested

The Surabaya City National Narcotics Agency (BNN) team raided a hotel located on Jalan Kalisari I No.1, Kapasari, Genteng, for being a drug party venue.

"From the raid, the team secured 10 positive methamphetamine and amphetamine. Currently, they are being investigated intensively at the BNNK Office," said Head of Public Relations of the Surabaya City BNN, dr. Singgih Widi Pratomo reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, September 13.

Singgih said the 10 people who were secured were hotel guests. "All hotel guests. There are 10 people. Seven men and three women," he said.

The raid was carried out after information that there was a drug party at the hotel. From this information, the BNNK Team and Satpol PP went directly to the location.

"We immediately did an examination. What we raided was in Tower B on the 9th floor. There were 10 hotel guests. Then we did a urine test and all of them tested positive for methamphetamine and amphetamine. Our guess is that they have just used it," he said.

No evidence was secured from the raid. However, he emphasized that the 10 people who were arrested were positive for methamphetamine and amphetamine.

"Currently, further investigations are still being carried out. To carry out investigations and developments. To find out who has supplied the drugs to the 10 people we have secured," he said.
