KPK Will Announce 3 Suspects In The Corruption Case Of The TKI Protection System At The Ministry Of Manpower

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has confirmed that three suspects in the alleged corruption in the procurement of the Indonesian labor protection system (TKI) will be announced. This announcement will be made after the filing process is complete.

"The KPK will definitely convey the construction of the case in its entirety and the parties named as suspects in this case," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Saturday, September 9.

"This is a principle of transparency to the community for the work of eradicating corruption carried out by the KPK," he continued.

Ali has not detailed the timing of the announcement. This is because investigators are still working today.

"The investigative team also continues to complete the filing so that the investigation process can be completed effectively and immediately provide legal certainty for the relevant parties," said Ali.

Previously, the KPK had announced that three suspects were named in the case of procuring the protection system. Secretary of the Planning and Development Agency of the Ministry of Manpower I Nyoman Darmanta is reportedly one of the parties involved.

In investigating this case, several witnesses have been examined. One of them is the former Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin who served for the 2009-2014 period on Thursday, September 7.

He admitted that he had explained everything he knew in front of investigators. At that time, Cak Imin was examined for five hours.

"Everything I've heard and God willing, everything I remember, all I know I've explained," he told reporters at the KPK's Red and White House.

He hopes that the KPK will immediately resolve the corruption case in the procurement of the TKI protection system. Cak Imin felt that his explanation was clear even though he did not want to go into detail.

Meanwhile, the anti-corruption commission said it was exploring several things in this case. Among other things, the reason Cak Imin approved the procurement of a protection system that led to a bancakan.
