JAKARTA - The general chairman of the political party supporting Ganjar Pranowo gathered at the PDIP DPP office, Menteng, Central Jakarta today. This meeting was designed last week.

"The agenda for this meeting is a political party consolidation meeting that carries Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election," PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto told reporters, Monday, September 4.

In addition to the Chairperson of the PDIP Megawati Soekarnoputri, the Acting Chairperson of the PPP Mardiono, the General Chairperson of Perindo Hary Tanoesoedibjo and the General Chairperson of Hanura Oesman Sapta Odang. "The general chairmen are busy with their respective activities to the regions, so today is a suitable time," he said.

Megawati as the host arrived at 13.45 WIB accompanied by her son who is also the Chair of the PDIP DPP M. Prananda Prabowo. He was welcomed by PDIP Secretary General Hasto and PDIP DPP Chair Bambang Wuryanto.

Furthermore, Hasto together with the Chairman of the PDIP DPP Said Abdullah welcomed the PPP group led by General Chair Mardiono and PPP Secretary General Arwani Thomafi. They walked because their office was next door to the party bearing the bull symbol.

Then the General Chairperson of Hanura Oesman Sapta Odang accompanied by his secretary-general, Kodrat Shah, also visited the PDIP DPP Office. Finally, the General Chairperson of Perindo Hary Tanoesoedibjo was also present who was greeted by Hasto and Said.

Not only the chairman of the political parties supporting Ganjar, the meeting was also attended by the central board of each political party. Including the Chairman of the PDIP DPP who is also the Chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, after meeting President Joko Widodo.

Megawati and Prananda received the general chairmen in the 3rd floor room of the PDIP DPP Office. Their meeting was held behind closed doors.
