Selling Exceeds HET, Pertamina Sanctions 1 Agent And 10 Subsidized Gas Bases In Belitung

Pertamina Patra Niaga Southern Sumatra Regional (Sumbagsel) sanctioned 11 agents and subsidized LPG gas bases on Belitung Island, Bangka Belitung Islands. These agents are considered naughty because they sell above from the highest retail price (HET) set by the government. "Pertamina has firmly instructed all agents and bases to distribute subsidized LPG according to applicable regulations," said South Sumatra Communication, Relations and CSR Area Manager Tjahyo Nikho Indrawan in a statement received in Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung Islands, as reported by Antara, Monday, September 4. He said as many as 11 subsidized LPG distributors who received the sanction consisted of one agent and 10 bases. The agents and bases were proven to have sold subsidized LPGs that were not in accordance with applicable regulations. "This sanction is in the form of warnings to suspension of the distribution of subsidized LPG for 30 days," added Tjahyo. Based on the Decree (SK) of the Governor of the Babylon Islands Number 188.44/850.q/IV/2021 concerning the Highest Retail Price (HET) of 3 Kilograms of LPG in Belitung Regency, this HET LPG is sold in the price range of Rp. 18,000. This price can adjust the distribution radius of 3 kilograms of LPG which is outside the 60 km radius from the SPBE or filling station to the base or sub-producing LPG in the local district or city area, and adjust the mode of transportation for the delivery of the subsidized LPG. "We continue to closely oversee the distribution, sale of subsidized LPG, so that it is right on target and does not hesitate to impose sanctions if you find agents and bases that commit fraud in any form, including those related to the distribution of this subsidized LPG," he said. He also appealed to the public to buy 3 kilograms of LPG at Pertamina's official base. In addition to being sold at the appropriate price, the public can also get a guaranteed LPG of quality where Pertamina continues to ensure the availability of this subsidized LPG supply.

"We invite the public to use LPG according to its designation, where LPG 3 Kg is a subsidy product specifically for the underprivileged. If they find indications of fraud, the public can report it to law enforcement officials or through Pertamina Call Center (PCC) 135," said Tjahyo.
