PKB sebelumnya mendukung Prabowo sebagai bakal capres mengingat partai itu dan Gerindra sempat membentuk Koalisi Kebangkitan Indonesia Raya (KKIR).Namun, selepas PKB membentuk kerja sama politik dengan NasDem dan Muhaimin menjadi bakal cawapres Anies, kerja sama politik itu pun berakhir.Walaupun demikian, PKB dan Muhaimin sampai saat ini belum secara resmi mengumumkan berkoalisi dengan NasDem dan mendukung Anies sebagai bakal calon presiden.Sesuai dengan jadwal KPU, pendaftaran bakal pasangan calon presiden dan wakil presiden mulai 19 Oktober 2023 hingga 25 November 2023.
