4 House Fires In Tanjung Priok, 1 Family Insulted In 4-Year-Old Baby Dies

JAKARTA - One family died in a fire that hit four houses on Jalan Benteng Mas 3, Sunter Jaya, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta.

The victims died, namely Abdul Yazid (35), Wina Nur Habriba (26), and Asrof Zahrul Ubait (4).

In total there were 3 victims who died. One family, said Head of the DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Isnawa Adji when confirmed, Sunday, August 27.

Isnawa said the three victims were found dead during the fire evacuation process that occurred on Sunday, August 27, at 02.50 WIB.

In addition to the fatalities, Isnawa said that 4 houses had been engulfed by the red rooster. With details, 3 rented houses and 1 residential house.

Isnawa said the fire could only be controlled after 12 fire engines (damkar) were deployed. The red rooster who went berserk finally went out at 06.20 WIB.

"The cause of the fire is suspected to be an electrical short," he said.
