Hasto Says Millennials Consider Budiman Sudjatmiko-Prabowo Like A New Dating

Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto admitted that he received input from millennials about Budiman Sudjatmiko's support for Prabowo Subianto. He said the party bearing the bull symbol should not bother because the two figures are like a new couple.

Hasto got this input when he held training with young people from the millennial generation. He admitted that he had asked about Budiman's support for Prabowo.

"I asked, 'How do you see (red) Mr. Budiman? (Asked, red) Mr. Secretary General. Already. Mr. Budiman is like having a new boyfriend," said Hasto, imitating the young person's answer as quoted from a written statement on Tuesday, August 22.

"So let it be fun with his girlfriend. After all, three months, we will find out how his new girlfriend is," he continued, imitating the sentence conveyed to him.

Hasto ensured that PDIP would not be affected by Budiman's support. He said all cadres and supporters of Ganjar would continue to move to the community.

However, he reminded the importance of political ethics. "Don't sacrifice our integrity, because for politicians that is the most important thing. For fighters, integrity is inherent in our character," said Hasto.

In addition, PDIP will also soon be managed by the Head of the PDIP Secretariat. The letter has been sent.

"The important thing is that it's friends who are fighting from Mr. Budiman, so that those who speak up, what is clear is that later we will send a letter by the head of the secretariat," he concluded.
