Mario Dandy Is Willing To Pay Rp120 Billion Restitution To David Ozora But Asks For Relief

JAKARTA - The defendant Mario Dandy Satriyo stated that he was willing to pay restitution or compensation in the case of alleged severe abuse against David Ozora.

Originally, the prosecutor demanded Mario Dandy Satriyo and Shane Lukas to pay restitutions worth Rp120 billion.

"So in good faith I am willing to pay restitution according to my abilities and conditions," Mario said while reading his plea at the South Jakarta District Court, Tuesday, August 22.

Although he was willing, Rafael Alun Trisambodo's son asked the panel of judges for dryness. The reason is, Mario currently does not have an income.

"Currently I am serving a criminal sentence that does not have an income and does not have any assets," said Mario.

"I ask the noble panel of judges to consider this in accordance with my condition and the applicable law," he continued.

On the other hand, Mario also admitted that he was surprised when the prosecutor read out his demands regarding the value of restitution. That number is not in accordance with the expectations.

"I also want to convey that I was very surprised when I heard the restitution submitted by the public prosecutor," said Mario.

Meanwhile, the prosecutor charged Mario to pay a restitution of Rp120 billion. If Mario is unable, then, he will be replaced with a prison sentence of 7 years.
