JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has been concerned about the progress of the investigation by the Head of the East Jakarta Madya KPP (Jaktim) Wahono Saputro. He was once questioned in the case of former officials of the Directorate General of Taxes at the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) Rafael Alun Trisambodo.

"There has been no progress (investigation, ed)," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Tuesday, August 22.

Ali said that the investigation into alleged corruption was carried out behind closed doors. So, people are asked to be patient.

"Later, there will be developments after completion, we will definitely convey it later," he said.

The KPK has clarified the wealth of a number of public officials. Apart from Wahono, there is the former Head of Yogyakarta Customs Eko Darmanto, former official of the Directorate General of Taxes at the Ministry of Finance Rafael Alun Trisambodo, to the former Head of Makassar Customs Andhi Pramono.

Based on this clarification, the investigation was then carried out until it went up to the investigation. Rafael Alun will even be tried soon.

Meanwhile Andhi is currently being held at the KPK detention center while Eko Darmanto has been investigated at the final stage. It is suspected that his irregularities will soon be upgraded to his status.

Previously, Wahono's name appeared in the Rafael case because his wife and Rafael's wife, Ernie Torondek, had shares in the same business. He has even been investigated regarding this allegation on March 14.
